If you don’t think you can handle the exposure of the Via Ferrata Extreme climbing up the outside of Honister crag, then why not come and play inside the mine instead?

A series of tunnels, caverns, ladders and bridges wind up level by level through the old mine, a place that was once alive with the buzz of workers – giving a thrill to all you budding Indiana Jones wannabes. Following the route with headtorches to light the way this is a unique activity and slightly less demanding than the exterior route. This still provides as much of a buzz, with a thrilling zip wire and rope swing to give just the right amount of adrenaline.

For the claustrophobic amongst you, don’t worry, there are no tight spaces to squeeze through here. We are normally around 3 hours.
